The Assessor of Property's office is responsible for determining the value of all property in the county, as well as to maintain the property tax maps of the county and current indexes of taxpayers.
Scott County Assessor of Property Steve Thompson has served in his current position since 2000. His office is located in the Scott County Courthouse. Office hours are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
