Pat Phillips, County Clerk
The County Clerk’s Office is responsible for maintaining the records of Scott County’s legislative body, as well as collecting business taxes, maintaining motor vehicle registrations and licensing, and a variety of other civil duties. Marriage licenses, pawnbroker licenses, hunting and fishing licenses, and certain other types of licenses are issued through the clerk’s office.
Driver License Renewals
The Clerk’s Office processes driver’s license renewals and requests for duplicates each Tuesday and Thursday at the Scott County Office Building from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Patricia Phillips has served as Scott County’s Court Clerk since 1998. Her office is located in the County Courthouse, at 282 Court Street in Huntsville. Business hours are 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
