Director of Finance

The financial management committee of Scott County, Tennessee, is accepting applications for Director of the Scott County Finance Department. The duties of the Director include management and oversight of the purchasing, payroll, budgeting, accounting and audit functions of the government of Scott County, Tennessee, and the Scott County School System, in accordance with state law and the adopted financial policies of Scott County, Tennessee. The minimum qualifications for the position include a bachelor of science degree from an accredited college or university with at least 18 quarter hours (or equivalent semester hours) in accounting; although the committee may select a person not having these qualifications if he/she has at least 2 years of acceptable work experience in a related position. The position’s salary is $53,361.60.
